Why I Support Serbia, Part I

I found this on Julia Gorin's excellent blog:

This photo is of Hamas supporters protesting against Serbs, specifically their "aggression" against the Albanians of Kosovo. Yes, Hamas supporters. Hamas, that disgusting group of terrorists who want us Americans (and the rest of the non-Muslim free world) dead. Keep in mind the strong anti-Serb sentiment present in Western society today. After seeing this photo alone, I cannot understand how sane person could support the Muslims of the Balkans. They follow the same Islam that all Muslims do and do not deserve our support. Serbia deserved, and still deserves, our support, both in the 1990s and now with all this Kosovo rubbish. Instead, we have continually supported the Albanians and Bosnians while working against the Serbs--us and Hamas.

Do people not see how ridiculous this is? Of course I have other reasons for supporting Serbia (which I will detail sooner or later), but this alone is enough to make me realise how terribly misguided the United States' policy in the Balkans has been and continues to be. We support people that our enemies support--is that not beyond stupid?

By the way, do read the original post over at Julia Gorin's blog--it's long but extremely interesting.

I know exactly what you mean. Case in point, if you're clueless in the upcoming election, don't cast your vote for who our enemies endorse. Wake up Obama supporters!
