Daniel Pipes Is Here

Daniel Pipes is speaking at my university tonight. I'm bringing my camera and notebook, so hopefully pictures will be forthcoming. Notes about his talk, entitled "Vanquishing the Islamist Enemy and Helping the Moderate Muslim Ally," will certainly follow. I'm interested to hear what he has to say, especially considering what the title of his talk is. I don't believe in a moderate form of Islam, so I think it will be interesting.

Needless to say, the liberals on campus (and there are copious amount of them) are absolutely freaking out. They have posted flyers all over about how they are holding a protest outside the building in which Pipes will be speaking. They are calling their campaign "Stop the Hate." That title is ironic in more ways than one. Of course, they're too stupid to realise that.

Update, 10:49 PM:

I'm back from the talk. I have work to do, so I probably won't be able to post my impressions until tomorrow or Thursday. I took pictures of the protestors (the had a very low turnout) and of Pipes speaking (I sat in the front, so I hope they're good).

I love my university, but sometimes I get overwhelmed by the liberals. Someday I want to make a protest against something and call it "Stop the Stupidity."

Make sure you ask him what we should be doing with the 150 million Islamists. Do we eliminate them? Do we throw them in jail? Either way, it should make for a mighty fine holocaust ...

It is not a problem what you will do with them, but what they will do with the USA if you don't defend yourself.
