Something similar happened to my father a few months before he died. He had worsening arteriosclerosis and the doctor did an angioplasty. Something went wrong in the procedure, a nicked artery or major vein, and he lost a lot of blood.

He was never the same. As his health deteriorated over the next few months, his memory got worse and worse. When I came into his hospital room, he would know me as his son and say my name. But if we sat quietly for awhile and I was not in his direct view, he would forget. As soon as I got up from the chair and entered his field of vision--there would be the smile and the greeting: "Well look who's here, how are you?"

Even my own middle-age lapses of memory scare me, because I've seen the path.

That's not really much of a concern, IMO. The problem with Russia is that many people, especially men, binge once a week or more, sometimes for several days in a row (!), on (cheap) vodka. That really hurts their health and life expectancy.

Drinking a beer or two once per week for teenagers, even for children, is not much of a health concern. It only becomes a problem when it overflows into regular binging, as you describe in the quoted article. Then again, I suspect many teenagers will exaggerate the amount they actually drink so as to appear "cool". The drinking problems in Russia and Czechia differ by an order of magnitude - it is a true health / demographic issue in the former, more of a rowdiness issue in the latter.

I was really surprised that they would arrest and send Karadzic to the Hague given the disaster the Milosevic trail proved to be for the NWO that convinced me of the truth that our UN-free mass media flat out lied to us BBC being the worst.
